Grapeseed oil (Vitis vinifera)
Grapeseed oil absorbs well into the skin. This oil is astringent, making it great for over oily skin. It also has hypoallergenic properties, so it is good for use on sensitive skin. Grapeseed oil contains linoleic acid which is good for skin health. Grapeseed oil does not clog the pores, working as an excellent moisturiser for the skin. Fine lines and wrinkles can be alleviated as the elasticity of the skin can be improved with the use of this oil, thus softening the lines on ageing skin. Grapeseed oil also contains vitamins; minerals and protein which helps nourish the skin. Popular oil used for massage because it has a fine texture that is easily absorbed by the skin, thus helping the essential oils to penetrate the skin quickly. Good for use on all skin types.
Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)
Jojoba oil closely resembles sebum, a waxy substance produced by the skin glands, so it can act as a natural skin conditioner. Jojoba oil can seal in the moisture and create an effective barrier to external elements. Jojoba oil is fully absorbed into the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. When the skin remains well hydrated by the protective layer of jojoba oil, the sebaceous glands respond by down regulating sebum production.
The essential oils are blended together for their therapeutic qualities, providing a synergy with the nutritious added ingredients. Effective relief from muscular spasm, sprains, strains and bruising. Cooling and pain relieving.
